Optometrist

My client, an ophthalmologist / retinal specialist, based in Somerset West is urgently seeking to employ an Optometrist to join their practice. The success candidate will have anything from 1 – 5 years practice experience

Requirements include:
At least 1 – 3 years industry experience
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Excellent communication skills
Having the passion to work with patients / patient care
Prioritization and organizational skills
Be able to handle and work well under pressure
Leadership Skills

Duties include but is not limited to:
Pre-Operative Assessments
Post-Operative Care
Screening and Diagnostic Tests
Collaborative Care
Theatre preparation and stock management

Regular practice hours are from Monday to Friday 8.00 – 17.00.
