SHORT LEARNING PROGRAMME (SLP): Ocular Diagnostics Privileges For Optometrists

 

This Short Learning Programme ensures the opportunity for the upskilling of
optometrists in order to practice within changed scope of Optometry, thereby
offering comprehensive eye care services. Participants will receive 30 CEU’s on
successful completion of the qualification.

COURSE CONTENT

The Course will comprise of 5 Modules.
It runs over approximately four months.

MODULE 1:

Overview of Ocular Anatomy, Physiology,

Microbiology and General Pathology

Ocular and General Pharmacology

DATE: 4-7 MARCH 2025

MODULE 3:

Ocular Disease: Anterior Segment

MODULE 4:

Ocular Disease: Posterior Segment

and Neurology

DATE: 20-23 JUNE 2025

TEST: 19 JULY 2025

MODULE 5:

Ocular Diagnostic Techniques and Clinical Ethics

DATE: 30 AUG-04 SEPT 2025
