FEES:

Locums can join LocumBase for FREE and have access to all organisational tools to manage your Locum life and make the most of your skilled hours.

Locums always receive their full hourly fees with nothing deducted.

Locums are responsible for paying their own tax, however, LocumBase shows you the taxable portion of income on our invoices which are issued to the Locums after each completed Locum assignment.

ABOUT US:

LocumBase began as an idea in the mind of founder and CEO Zulé Vuuren, and sprang to life in late 2017. Funding was raised from a number of sources including former FNB CEO Michael Jordaan and Private Property co-founder Justin Clarke, enabling the platform to become fully functional in 2018.

Version 3 of the platform was released in 2020 and in 2021, the LocumBase Team doubled. LocumBase won the Grindstone XL 2020/21 cohort in 2021. LocumBase was also awarded in 2021 by Global Brands Magazine for the title Innovation in Healthcare Tech & Staffing Solutions.
