The SAOA is taking a stand against illegal mobiles (non- registered mobile clinics) and placed an advert in the CITY PRESS newspaper on Sunday the 8th of February 2015.
The SAOA hopes that this advert will reach and educate the public about illegal mobiles, and hopefully the public will be more cautious of such practices.
As the custodians of the profession the SAOA will combat the illegal mobiles, for the benefit of the optometry profession as a whole.
We would like to urge all our fellow optometrist and other practitioners to stand with us in this fight.
