Contact Lens Lab Of South Africa Approved as an Authorized Rose K Manufacturer Menicon expands its African Rose K Network.
Nagoya, Japan, 16 December, 2014 – Menicon Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that The Contact Lens Lab Of South Africa (Johannesburg, South Africa) is now an authorized manufacturer of its complete line of Rose K lenses. CLLSA, an authorized distributor of Rose K lenses within South Africa since 2013, has officially passed all manufacturing qualifications and is now the first lab on the African continent to manufacture Rose K.
Rose K is the single most frequently prescribed lens design for correction of keratoconus and irregular cornea conditions in the world. Currently sold in 88 countries, the Rose K family of lenses consists of 5 designs, including Rose K2 (keratoconus), PG (post graft), IC (irregular cornea), NC (nipple cone) and the newly released Rose K2 XL semiscleral design.
